Winter extension classes
For those that have been carving in a termly course, there is an opportunity to have 5more sessions over the winter

Please book for all 5 sessions. If you have an unused session from a previous course please call us to see if we can accommodate a swap to a winter session.
Hot drinks and snacks are available.
This is an excellent space for continuing projects with a diverse group of carvers.

Materials For Sculpture:
Please bring any drawings, maquettes, idea or sketches, sketch book and pencils (hard and soft). Hat, goggles and cotton gloves are useful too. Please wear stout shoes.

Materials For Lettercutting:
Sketch books, pencils (hard and soft), ruler and rubber. Also bring your ideas! Please wear stout shoes.

Stone
Stone is sold by the kilo and ranges in price from £3-5.50 per kilo. Softer stone such as Bath and Serpentine are used for sculpture and suitable limestones or slate for lettercutting.
​
A wide range of hand tools are available for students' use.
​
Lunch
There are several pubs within a three mile radius all serving meals or bring a packed lunch.
​
Accommodation is available in nearby guest houses.
