OUR NEW ADDRESS WILL BE :
Skelton Workshops, Stone Carving, Artelium, Streat Lane, BN6 8SA
Dear Students All,
We just have 2 weeks left at Blabers Mead after tomorrow (May 13th) and Saturday, so if any of you wish to come and say 'Goodbye ' to the place, feel free.
We will be keeping the Sculpture Garden where exhibitions will take place in the future.
We are on track to move officially on June 18th, but 'phase one' is tomorrow.
We will start our next batch of classes on Wednesday June 22nd (afternoon, 2 – 5) taught by Charly Greensted and Thursday June 23rd (morning, 10 – 1) taught by Graham Alborough. These will be our new days from now on.
We have a three day Course, (now booking) on Tuesday July 5th- Thursday 7th'' taught by Graham and Helen Mary.
Things will be a little disorganised at first while we find our feet, but we will soon settle.
We will be offering Taster Days at Artelium in May on Saturday 14th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 29th as part of The Brighton Festival.
Looking forward to seeing you, those who are new to us and of course all of our regulars alike.
We also look forward to establishing ourselves in this beautiful new setting.
SKELTON WORKSHOPS IS MOVING!
On June 18th we will be taking 'Figure Head' – our yew wood sculpture that has adorned the workshop for 35 years – up the road to our new home at ARTELIUM, a vineyard in Streat Lane which is offering us new accommodation. We will process with her – please come and join us and bring any musicians you know too!
Please note: for students paying online, the bank details have now changed. Please call Helen Mary for details.
There will be a new opportunity for you to use the space in an untutored fashion – we are opening the workshop on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, mornings and afternoons for students to book space to work on their pieces without a tutor. Price £4.00/hr (cash on the day preferred).
We now have an active WhatsApp group to which all students are invited. If you want to be included please contact Sarah Jay (07788 666 582) with your details.

A range of short and longer courses under the guidance of our friendly and experienced tutors in lettercutting and sculpture are held for beginners and those with some experience. We also do gift tokens on request.
