PLEASE NOTE: We are operating social distancing and asking everyone to provide their own masks, mugs and tools if they have them. We are only taking a maximum of seven students and we aim to work outside wherever possible. On rainy days there will be five students in the workshop and two in the north studio. Work areas will be designated and places must be booked and paid for online.
There will be a new opportunity for you to use the space in an untutored fashion – we are opening the workshop on Friday and Saturday afternoons for students to book space to work on their pieces without a tutor. Price TBA.
About Skelton Workshops
Our courses are held in Streat near Ditchling, right underneath the South Downs in Sussex, England in the inspirational home of the late John Skelton, lettercutter and sculptor.
A range of short and longer courses under the guidance of our friendly and experienced tutors in lettercutting and sculpture are held for beginners and those with some experience. We also do gift tokens on request.
Find out more by clicking on Classes and see what can be achieved in our Gallery of student work.
